Another price increase from BT!

For the second time this year BT are increasing line rental so, from the 3rd December 2011 BT line rental will be £14.60 per month. For customers not paying by Direct Debit, there will be an additional charge of £1.89. However, BT have pledged that following the December hike, they will freeze line rental costs for the next 2 years. 

How to get BT phone line rental for just £10 per month

BT have introduced a new way to reduce the cost of your BT line rental to just £10 per month. To receive this discount, customers need to pay 12 months line rental in one advance debit or credit card payment of £120 (equivalent to £10 per month). BT Phone & Broadband offers

BT BASIC - For those on low income

BT have a heavily reduced phone line rental and call plan for those that are claiming any of the following:

  • Income Support
  • Income-basic Jobseeker's Allowance
  • Employment Support Allowance (Income related)
  • Pensions Credit (Guaranteed Credit)

So what is the cost of BT Basic?

BT Basic is only £14.40 per quarter and this price includes £4.50 to spend on calls. There is no minimum contract period so you're free to change your calling plan and package at any time. You also get free weekend calls to 0845 and 0870 numbers (up to 60 minutes). BT broadband can be added to the account at an additional cost. Compare new phone line prices
